Meet Laurie Weisman

“ Let the beauty of what you love, be what you do.” Rumi

My journey took an unexpected turn in my early thirties following a breast cancer diagnosis, marking a pivotal moment that ignited my passion for change. At that time, I was a respected banker, overseeing a team of lending officers and managing diverse portfolios. My career had allowed me to work with an array of clients—from multinational corporations to art dealers and movie moguls—yet I found myself yearning for a deeper purpose.

Inspired by my experience, I sought the guidance of an extraordinary career coach who provided the direction and motivation I needed to explore a new path. This led me to an enriching career in microfinance, where I combined my business acumen with a commitment to social impact. Over the years, I had the privilege of working in more than 20 countries, developing educational workshops and advising senior leaders across five continents. My focus was on transformation, both at the individual and institutional levels.

Despite the fulfillment I found in microfinance, I felt compelled to pursue a calling that resonated more deeply with my beliefs. I returned to graduate school and obtained a masters in health and behavior studies at Columbia University, and gained certifications in wellness and mindfulness, including training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). This new direction eventually culminated in the founding of evenKeel wellbeing, where I work with a discerning clientele who have the desire and courage to make real changes in their lives.

As an ICF-certified coach, certified yoga and meditation teacher, and happiness trainer, I empower individuals to envision their dreams and navigate toward them. I partner with clients to uncover insights often obscured by the rush of daily life— stress, limiting beliefs and assumptions that cloud their vision. Through my guidance, they discover a renewed sense of balance, resilience, and purpose -true wellbeing in body and mind.

Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about hiking, biking, practicing yoga, and visiting museums and galleries. Since 2015, I have been an instructor for e-Mindful, a leader in mindfulness programs for corporations.

Now residing in the city and spending time in the Alps, I lead wellbeing retreats at Chalet M Austria, a place I call home. The mountains are integral to my story; they are where I confronted my own limiting beliefs and assumptions, testing my limits by climbing Mont Blanc, The Grand Teton, and Mt. Kilimanjaro and more. I learned that the power of transformation often lies in the beauty of taking one step at a time.

Having traveled and worked on six continents, visiting over 40 countries, I am deeply committed to fostering a life enriched by diverse cultures and experiences.
